Position Overview:
The Welding Foreman is responsible for supervising and instructing welders on construction projects. This role requires expertise in welding techniques such as FCAW and SMAW, as well as proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding construction terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily welding operations and provide guidance to welders.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Read blueprints and interpret construction and engineering drawings.
• Ensure welders are working safely and according to safety regulations.
• Provide support with problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Ensure the welding team meets quality standards and deadlines.
• Maintain welding equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Training in welding techniques such as FCAW and SMAW.
• Maintain certification as an AWS D1.1 welder: must be able to read, comprehend, and understand AWS symbols, welding wire data sheets, and AWS (WPS) welding procedure specifications.
• Previous experience as an experienced welder.
• Knowledgeable of construction terminology and processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Compensation:
Base salary range in New Holland, PA: $60,000/yr – $90,000/yr
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
